About Tiny Tasker

I'm a senior user experience designer by trade — a practitioner who has spent years trying to make technology easier to use for real people. Over time, I became more than just curious about how the systems I was designing actually worked. That curiosity evolved into a passion for development and creating digital tools from the ground up.

I often describe myself as a “refugee” from the tech industry — not because I left willingly, but because the landscape shifted beneath me. As the technology field contracted, opportunities in UX design dried up, and like many others, I found myself unable to land work despite years of experience. That forced pause led me to reevaluate, learn new skills, and start building my own tools. Tiny Tasker was one of the outcomes — something practical and personal, created not just to solve a problem, but to take back some control in an unpredictable industry.

I'm also an AI enthusiast — both excited and cautiously curious about what the future holds. I see AI as a powerful partner in building things faster and smarter, but I'm equally driven by the belief that we still need human-centered tools that respect time, privacy, and simplicity.

On a personal note, this project is part of a larger journey: not just to sharpen my development skills, but also to build something sustainable — and yes, hopefully chip away at those student loans in the process. Every click, every use, helps move that goal a little closer.
